So a little while ago my son walks in the back door and says "what the hell". You see a few days ago my wife moved in with my daughter, my daughter had surgery and won't be allowed to walk for 6 more weeks. She has a 9 month old little boy that isn't content to stay in one place for very long so she'll be needing lots of help. So anyway with the wife out of the house I moved my reloading stuff into the dining room where I can work in comfort and not be too far from the kitchen and the fridge. So when my son walked in there I was measuring powder on the dining room table with AC/DC streaming and blaring in the living room. He hadn't heard yet that I was on my own for a few weeks, after I explained it, it all made perfect sense to him. Although I believe that he thinks I am some kind of a past middle aged delinquent. But I have to tell you at this point I don't much care what anyone thinks, I'm having a blast.

Nothing like a little "Highway to Hell" while measuring up some IMR 4831!

You lucky SOB!
Seriously: I hope your daughter is doing well.

Thanks she's doing great, just can't put any weight on her foot for 8 weeks

My day just keeps getting better! I went out and sat in the rain for the last 45 minutes of legal shooting time today and dropped an 11 point whitetail. I'll get pics up soon, got a lot of work to do right now.

I'm afraid that I would of said something like "your mom left me" Then once the shock wore off of him tell him the truth.

But then I usually have a warped sense of humor at times.

Now don't scratch that dining table or leave any evidence that you were actually having fun.

... and dropped an 11 point whitetail.
Lucky bastard...twice for that matter.
Just don't be butchering the deer on the dinning room table and you'll be fine.
A wee bit more messy clean up than IMR.

Enjoy your time and I hope your daughter's recovery goes well.

Pictures of the table please, oh yeah, and pictures of the buck would be nice too. :ROFLMAO:(y)

Ok since I've been around here long enough to understand that without pictures it really didn't happen, here he his.

I'll give you the picture of the deer but a picture of the table could come back to haunt me.

Nice buck. Sometimes its nice to have the wife out for a couple of weeks. 8 might be a little long tho.... Hope your daughter heals up well.

Thanks Bruce, yeah I'm sure I'll miss her at some point. Maybe just not right away. Just kidding. Just in case she's reading my posts. lol

I'm really starting to like my little Ruger Ranch Rifle in 300 Blackout with a suppressor on it. It knocked that buck down pretty handily and no one in the hood has a clue I shot anything.

My preference goes between Aerosmith and Rolling Stones - guess that says something about my age; but then it also justifies why the volume is higher because I'm accused of having selective deafness.

Hope your daughter recovers soon. best of luck

As long as you hear "Thunder" its OK. It is the "Kaboom' that is dangerous

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
Ross
