Excellent!

Very nice thank you for sharing.

Xlint story. Thanks for sharing.

Jerome, you need to put wheels on that rifle, it's much more like artillery.....very friggen beautiful artillery!

.

Really wants to make you go ellie hunting!

A gun carriage would indeed be an excellent idea. I love doubles and I love my VC 9.3x74r, but can’t imagine dragging around something the size of a crew-served weapon! (n)

I had the immeasurable pleasure of meeting Jerome several years ago.

His quote was eye watering, but I will get there eventually.

great video!

I met Jerome a couple years back in Las Vegas, he was an absolute pleasure to talk to and his rifles are top notch. some day when I have the money I will have VC build me a 577 NE.

I always spend an hour with Jerome at DSC. Although I do not own a Verney-Caron he will spend time talking doubles with you and always a highlight to my trip there. His exuberance and love of his rifles is contagious. You will love spending time with him.

I had always coveted the 450/400 PH round body double on the pegs at Safari and Outdoor in Johannesburg. A truly beautiful double and i must have handled it 15 times. Case hardened colours, a fully figured stock with tons of character. Alas, i just couldn't afford it. Then Jerome emailed me, “why not consider an O/U double, I have one in Johannesburg?”. What a beauty it turned out to be, also case hardened colours and a nice walnut stock. 375 Flanged Magnum. Half the price, so I bought it. Since then i have grown more and more fond of the O/U idea, it is so logical. Yet to fire a round through it though, but watch this space.

Living life like a lion for 1 day is better than living life like a jackal for 100 years.
