According to US Fish and Wildlife Lion imports are reviewed on a case by case basis now. Refer to US Fish and Wildlife Service International Affairs. The import form is 3-200-20. The form has an explanation page that you use to answer each question. We are currently in the process having just returned from a Lion hunt in South Africa as well.
The outfitter lists this as one of a few accredited farms, so based upon that and a little work on his end and a little work on your end the Lion should be able to be imported.
That is true. All lions hunted with us have full export and CITES permits. There have been cases with good motivation where Lions from this property have been imported into the US.
My wife really would like to hunt a lion. There are people who say yes and others no if we are able to import to the US. I read on line this is a case by case basis. Has anyone ever heard of successfully getting a permit through the US fish and wildlife? We have a safari booked July 2019 and this would be a nice add on.
Because of some clients having to move their dates I have 2 prime time slots open if anyone is interested to do a hunt
5-15 May
