Sako Brown Bear or Grey Wolf in 375 H and H

I have a different opinion to Dr Ray about the muzzle blast, in that I don’t think it is an issue at all.

I mention muzzle blast only because if those with you might be affected. I’m particularly adverse to the muzzle blast. The difference won’t be that great but will be louder.

I don't own either of those SAKO's but own 3 Classics and 1 Bavarian. My 375 Classic has a 24 3/8 inch barrel, and it function flawlessly in Africa. Please don't put Talley Rings on your SAKO. Get the Optilock Rings, yes they might be a little high for some folks, but your buying a SAKO and part of that experience is using the rings made by SAKO for the gun.

Will do and appreciate your input. Thanks buddy.

My vote would be the Kodiak. They sell much more than any other .375 by Sako. I have owned and shot them too and can attest to their quality. Cheers!

Both.....you know, for variety!

I have the Kodiak myself. If you like stainless rifles, this is the way to go. Unless, you also like longer barrels. I just think that a rifle that could possibly be used on DG, should have iron sights. Here's a water buffalo I took with my Kodiak.

Beautiful buffalo. Thank you for your input my friend.

Nice Buff for sure Toby. I was about to buy a Kodiak 375 from Cabelas and it sold before I made up my mind. Really felt good with excellent balance. I ended up with a Kimber Caprivi in 375 I got a great deal on. I still may someday buy a Kodiak?
