Guys just got the call my animals landed in calgary anyone know how long it takes to clear trophies >>>?????

Milford, if there are no issues with bugs, dirt, blood, paperwork missing etc.
It is possible to clear them yourself in under three hours.

Including all running around back and forth from the bonded warehouse to the airport customs office, etc.
If they want an Ag Canada inspection then it is when they get around to it. (or when they can schedule the inspection)

PM me if you have more questions.

Thanks I made a deal with the shipper he has a customs agent so they will clear them and I just have to pick them up . not sure how much i will have to pay customs though

One nightmare had someone being charged taxes in the entire trophy cost. (Trophy fee and taxidermy) On appeal obviously.

My experience was: GST on taxidermy.

If a broker is doing the work then it will depend on their schedule of work.

I would think that they would be processed, barring nightmares, within a week.

Good luck. Post the pictures when you get your hands on them.

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
Ross
