Bos en Dal Safaris 2017 season update

Thanks to hunters this kudu bull was relieved from his misery. He would not have been arround much longer

Why would he not have been around much longer? Was it just an older animal, or did it have some type of injury/illness?

Pretty nice kudu there! Congrats to the hunter!

Yeah I've known him years lol
I was suposse to do ten days out there this year with Suzi but had to cancel with needing a new hip so doing 14 days next year to make up for it between Limpopo and Natal if all goes to plan

Couldn't have asked for more character to this old boy!!!

Wow nice hog!

So today we were looking at areas where we can drill for water as it is very dry and some of the bore holes are drying up. Knowing of a Kudu that has lost his ear to ticks and flies i took my old mans 45-70 with me loaded with 300gr Winchesters. On our way back i saw this spesific bull and the hunt was on. He was really skinny and he offered me a shot at 120m. The 45 with open sights hit where i intendet to and i managed to put him out of his missery.

Not a monster bull but always a good hunt and a beautifull animals.
