Welcome aboard! Lots of knowledge to draw from on this site!

First of all welcome to the site.
Go to a Good bow shop , get your bow tuned and fitted to you.(draw length)
Get you a book and study the atomy of the animals you want to hunt.
Don't try and be a hero and make long shots with a bow ,25 yards or less. Forrest

Welcome to AH sir!

Anyone has a first time big game bow hunt experience story of what they did that worked and what didn't work or what you would have done different

Practice more.
Focus on the target, not the horns/antlers.
Patience. (Still working on this one every day)

No story , the 3 P's Practice , Patience, Persistence.
Pay close attention how the animal is standing , shoot for a exit, 9times out of 10 I shoot for the off hand leg . Forrest
