,as when @Bobpuckett and deb wandered to jacos booth and were talking away to jaco and me, with wayne standing next me about they nearly were going to zambia to takeri this year but doing something else, and talked about this for a few minutes.....wayne said mmmm maybe you should speak to mike about it.....took bob another 30 secs or so looking at wayne wondering what he was on about....will have to get bigger logo on my shirts i think.... was very funny when it clicked though

Hittin SA with pawprints in aug of 2017 with neighbor. Got to meet pieter and some of his his buddies thats hunted with him many times this week while he was in states. Very much excited for this is will be our first safari!

Well this year is pretty full leave for Australia in April then back home for my retirement dinner first week in May, yep Retirement that thing I've been working and waiting for, for the last 46 years of my life then end of may its off to Namibia for a week then down to Cape town for 4 or 5 days quick flight to East London for a week of hunting with Buff-Buster and the family. already planning for 2018 with trips to Zambia, Spain and Mozambique heck I'll be retired no work holding me back.

Heading for KwaZulu Natal in late April. Will be hunting plains game and possibly Bush pigs with Clayton Comins at Umdende Safaris. Bought the trip at an SCI banquet and it is the first trip to Africa for the four of us. Our backcountry Moose hunting trip in September back here in Manitoba will seem pretty mundane after South Africa.

Plane tickets booked for south Africa in September. When the family got back from Safari in 2015 my buddy wanted to go for Cape buffalo, he has been saving for 10 yr. Ron wanted to take my gopher gun (.470ne), not a problem I'm coming along to then. We leave Vancouver on the 5th of September going through London on to Johannesburg. Should be a good going with a first timer.

I am a sucker for punishment and will make a third attempt at a leopard in June. After 32 days spent looking for Mr. Spots in 2016 I am off to the Matobo area to hunt again with Martin Pieters Safaris. Martin has a hound hunt set up for me where the big cattle killing leopards live.
