Your day rates for Zim can't be beat! Hope someone takes advantage of this!

Nice offer, best of luck.

All I can say is wow!

What are the animals on the plains game for this package?

What are the animals on the plains game for this package?
Plains game available in the area that can be hunted are Kudu, Impala,Baboon, Bush buck, some Water buck , Giraffe, Eland, Duiker, Hyena, Warthog ( Not many ) and depending on quota and availability Sable .

Good luck selling these hunts. I'll see you for elephant in less than two months. Hopefully we will run into a leopard as well......

Nice lizard in the picture.

Fantastic value! Great hunting!

What area will the hunts be conducted in? Specifically if one adds elephant. What are the camp accommodations in that area? When you mean late season, what dates do you have available? Thanks

Hi @Nyamazana Safaris ,

What are the size of these elephants on average in this area? Zim exportable trophy elephant?

What is your availability/price for leopard?

Where is this hunt in Zim?

Is it concession, conservancy, campfire, communal lands, or someone's ranch?

Hi Wayne,
I am also interested in the exact area that you will be hunting, what the camp is like and will it be exclusively yours for the hunt?

What dates are you thinking about?

Hi

Replying to Jumbo / K -man / rookhawk and Jumbo

This is primarily for a new area I have been allocated which I am currently at this very moment clearing roads and preparing to hunt . The area comprises of 4 private ranch's and includes local RDC ( Campfire ). The Shangani river is mostly on the RDC concession but also on one ranch where the Shangani and Gwayi river join so to speak .

The other properties are inland and are resettled to an extent . Please note this is not the Gwayi Valley ok but it is in the Gwayi district . All open free range hunting .

Please note that I have been given full consent to hunt these properties by the previous owners who lost there land in this area. There are other farms that I will not hunt because of personal principals . 2 farms that are in this area are (Omkombo farm) Dion Steffan )And ( Hankano ) Paul Bennie. You are welcome to contact them anyone and I can assure you that they have expressed that they are happy that I will be trying to do something there on their old farms and wish me the best of success plus expressed that they would rather have me there than the previous people who ever that was that did not have the best interest in the area whatsoever.

The other farms have long back been legally sold and acquired from the government and new owners .

So gents I am taking on a huge task but I firmly believe that it can be a success. So I am working with the local campfire program as well as these area's.

These farms I will be hunting have been neglected and taken advantage of from previous operators both from Zimbabwe and South Africa.

With the consent of the old land owners I am hoping to turn things around as best as possible for as long as possible. I have employed anti Poachers and they are already on the ground and have already been responsible for the apprehension of some serious cyanide poachers .

The farm where we will be based is called Malindi and has very decent accommodations as well . It is a old railway farm.

I would definitely not be here if there was any skulduggery or any shady arrangement believe me . This is all above board , my reputation is worth way much more .

Yes I have exclusive hunting rights .

The Buff are still there as I explained best time to hunt Buff is from August - November when the bush is not too thick . Crocs are plentiful on the Shangani river . Elephant as we speak are in the area and will be even more so with the crops maturing in March / April and May plus they are just about resident most of the year and can be hunted late in the year along with other game .

Plains game is not in abundance thats for sure but there is some and will make hunting interesting . No drive by shooting thats for sure , we will have to hunt hard for everything.

Please note as well my prices are very low and its specifically designed for these marginal areas .

Expected size on the Elephant 35lb > Crocs 10' - 13'

Sorry although plenty Lion and Leopard in the area , I do not have any available on quota . Not this year anyway.

I may acquire a tag for either or from the local Gwayi ICA but I am not sure just yet .

I hope I have answered your questions satisfactory

Best regards

Wayne

Excellent reply and thanks. Lots of work ahead but sounds promising. Will keep in touch, good luck.

Hi Wayne. I'm a South African (Port Elizabeth). I'm keen to bring my 13 yr old son with as an observer, and perhaps shoot one or two plainsgame. That ok with your setup?

Also, if I add elephant, is it tusked or tuskless? And are the trophies exportable to SA?

I'm looking at September or late august

Kevin Filen

Hi Kevin

You are welcome to bring your son with you and he is welcome to take a few plains game animals . If you want Elephant to be added it has to be done with advance notice as we are required to apply for a ''special permit " with our Parks authority .

I currently have tentative bookings for August , first part of September is open at present , 2nd half of September is booked.

Kind regards

Wayne

Hi Wayne! Looking forward to meeting you personally in 3 weeks- I'll be coming over to Zim as Steve Dean's observer. Was wondering what location we will be at so that my family may know back home (as well as so that I may notify Global Rescue so that they know as well). Also, I think Steve probably told you- but I'm definitely interested in a few plains game and/or a leopard (if another Tom is around and willing to cooperate with us haha!) vs. croc vs. hippo, etc- wasn't sure if the location we will be at had these around... Is there anything else I need to know to bring along prior to departure? Thanks in advance!- Nathan

Hi Nathan

Yes Steve has notified me . We are hunting in Marula district / Mangwe which is in Matabeleland South approximately 2 Hours drive from Bulawayo airport . There are no Hippo or Croc in this area . I have sold all my Leopard tags in this area as you can imagine especially this year Leopard are in demand . Certainly you can hunt the plains game that is available here. Please note that this year Zimbabwe has experienced very good rains in fact exceptional rainfall so the bush is going to be very thick and wet . If you want to charge a camera or a iPad or similar please bring adapters / converters that plug into a standard cigarette lighter that is in my hunting truck , this particular camp has no electricity , the lights work off a solar system and my deep freezers are on gas . Ask Jay Porter he hunted out of the same camp .

All the best
