WANTED: Plains Game Hunting Safari

Hello Everyone.

I'm currently looking for some quotes for plains game safari for 5-7 people.

Kudu, Gemsbuck and Impala are on my list.

I'm trying to compose a list from the others. We will have some non hunters most likely.

I know they do not advertise here but look at Iliwa Safaris in South Africa. I did a lot of research before booking with them in 2013. I made an excellent choice.

And why are you looking around then sir ? Stick with your guys and it should even be better then last time !

I am sure it will be a great hunt and sightseeing after the hunt. Last hunt brought home 9 out of 11 SCI trophies including the Gold #48 Cape Impala.

I am not sure and I may be wrong but your post seemed a bit ---nasty toward me ---for lack of what I would say to your face. If I am wrong or mistaken then forgive me. If not you are out of line looking for a fight. There are other outfitters which are very good that do not advertise/post here.

I might add that in no way am I saying outfitters on this site are bad or any other negative thing----Well maybe some are a bit pricey for myself who wants to hunt all day (spot and stalk) and not have a pool, massages and such. I come to Africa to hunt. I have a pool in my backyard and there are places for a massage near me at home. Just as I do not go hunting and/or to Africa to get drunk. I can do that at home if I wish also. If someone else wants any of the things like a 5 star resort and willing pays the fee more power to them. Where I went, hunting was excellent, as was the food and other services for someone who wanted to hunt and do some sightseeing. Maybe 5 star hunting and 4 star lodging---which was very clean, nice, comfortable and not in town.

Check out my hunt report for 3S Safaris we had a great time and very reasonably priced. I will be going back in 2018. Good luck and have fun.

HI William, there are lots of great outfitters here and all over South Africa. It would help to have some specifics as to what your expectations are. Price is only one part of the hunt.

have you and your friends considered hunting in Namibia? Our hunting operation has two of the finest free-range hunting areas in Namibia. We have 4 000 000 acres in the Highlands- the Mountains of Namibia, the ideal place to search fro Big Kudu Bulls, Gemsbok and Mountain Zebra. Then we have the famous Kalahari dessert were we go after Impala and Cape Eland. Both hunting areas are only 200km apart and thus not much travelling time is lost to experience and see both these magnificent areas.

@surfcowboy I can attest to Pawprint Safaris ability to pull off a plains game hunt for a large party. I was in camp this year with five other hunters at the same time. We all had great hunts and everyone took the game on our lists. Some were bow hunting and some were rifle hunting so name your style and Pieter's team will deliver.

Very true Charlie and the 5 of us had a blast hunting with you in camp with us. Some even took more then the list they came with. Also just so it is clear. My group knew Charlie would be in camp with us.

A big group like yours would be in camp all by themselves.
