No doubt, even though it's a US celebration , thanks to all veterans (foreign and domestic) who put their country first and helped shape this world.

I don't think any of us would hesitate to pick up a rifle again in defense of our nation or freedom! I pray every night for our troops and for our the soldiers that paid the ultimate price to give the right to do and say as we please in this country.

Seeing your attached photo of the poppies at Flanders and hearing that Leonard Cohen died this week, I thought Cohen's recitation of McRae's poem was fitting.

The support for our military personnel and veterans today is refreshing and truly appreciated . . . a big turnaround from what we received upon returning home from Vietnam.

Today's encouragement and appreciation for our military is great. Thanks for your service.
