I just returned from my first African hunt and loved every minute of it. The hunting was excellent (5 animals in 7 days) but the quality of the people I hunted with at TDK made it the best trip ever. PH/Guides Kevin Brits and Dakota McArtor were excellent in getting me on the animals but their friendly personalities made me feel as if I were hunting with old friends. The food and lodging were excellent as well. Lisa McArtor was the perfect hostess and every detail of my stay was managed with excellence. I would highly recommend TDK Safaris to anyone planning their first trip to South Africa.

Welcome to the posting side of AH! Congrats on the safari, what animals did you get? Could you post some pics also, we would love to see them!
 
I took Impala, 2 Blesbuck, Wildebeest, & Warthog. I will post pictures during the next few days. I felt like a child again as I saw the tremendous variety of wildlife in South Africa. Can't wait to go back!!
 
Congrats again. look forward to the pics! I know the feeling of being a kid again, or the old saying being a kid in a candy store

I've heard of TDK Safaris from YouTube. There is a guy out of the Northeast that took some video of his hunt there and it looked like lots of fun. Congrats on your hunt and Welcome!

This Old Warthog was taken the last day of the hunt ......and he was worth waiting for!

After following this bull most of the day we finally got a clear shot on him.
 
I will post some more photos in the next day or two. Last night I dreamed I was back there hunting again. It was hard to concentrate at work today, as I was thinking about the next rifle/scope combination and daydreaming of my next hunt.

Just got back to this. It is a shame to not finish the story. I am new at posting so I would have done a few things differently but needed to add the last couple of photos.

I am still looking at the photos like a six year old boy. The Blesbuck is a very beautiful animal.
