I forgot to add that if Obama books this, I will throw in a bungee jump for free.......no strings attached.

Nice offer!

Why does Obama get dragged into everything? please explain as you guys must be experts on the Obama administration, I for one am glad my next safari will be with Kingsview and Jono McHugh. Many of us from the US aren't interested in your political views.

Well I guess if the OP'er wants to post a Obama joke on his own hunt offer he certainly has the right to do so. If you don't like it move on to another thread or start your own thread on "The great points of the Obama administration" if you can find any. It really seems to me your your reply is intended to start a huge debate over politics within this thread.
To specifically answer your question, it's because Obama is a douche nozzle and without a doubt a disgrace to the US.
I would however suggest that any further bickering over you being offended be placed in a new thread, title of your choosing as the above mentioned one would be a short conversation.

When you make a post to sell a hunt it is open to all,[ you 2 brought up politics] no need for a new thread, my dad always said no one knows how dumb you are until you open your mouth, I will make note of your Rockin G Ranch and look for a hunt some place else

I think that it was just meant as a joke. IMO all politicians from all sides and all countries are open game in the humor department.

I guess we are all entitled to our opinions.

The King has not taken that right away via Executive Action (yet).

He has to take care of the 2nd Amendment before he tackles the 1st Amendment.

Speaking of 1st Amendmenrt Tim.... I have every right to say that you should go ahead and sign up for this hunt now and beg Kathi for forgiveness later. You can tell her you did it just so she could see the falls, but that mean ole Martin wouldn't let you take the buffalo out of the package!!! :A Banana:

Hi Ruger77. I see you are fairly new here so let me welcome you to the forums. We rarely debate politics in this forum. I believe the above was meant as a joke. Our current administration has made life a bit tougher on hunters and those who work within that industry. Many of us don't care for those changes. So he is naturally going to be the butt of many jokes.
There is a general feeling that we are worse off as a result of Pres Obamas election among outdoorsman. If you took a poll you find that the majority of hunters feel that way. If you like him and support him that is your right. Your opinion is just that, yours. Feel free to give your opinion. Your right. Just don't expect most of us to agree with you.
By the way, if you have the chance to hunt with Gizmo, take it. You'll enjoy the hunt even tho your political opinions differ. He has a good outfit. Bruce

Thank you Bruce I appreciate that. That is a much more cordial way of saying things and I applaud you for that. I personally have the bad habit of not having a filter and ruger's comments struck me badly. I should have been more diplomatic but the tone of the comment, especially implying that Martin Pieters was some how sub par for making a joke didn't sit well. My hat is off to you sir and I especially appreciate the compliment.

Although I am significantly more liberal than the majority of the AH community (and I don't really understand why most of them are so angry with Obama) ... it was a pretty funny joke :)!

PS I would not hesitate to hunt with Gizmo either.

Oh and by the way Martin I e seriously been kicking around the idea of the tuskless hunt we discussed. We will just have to see where the budget sits in the next few years.

Don't think I'm not tempted!

Lets all play nice fellas. We don't need this type of bickering amongst ourselves. The Anti's are doing a good job of trying to destroy us, let's not implode ourselves. We have to watch each other's backs. Ruger 77 you will have a great time with Kingsview and I personally would have no problem hunting with Eric on the ranch.
