Started a thread last year so guys could share what plans they had for the year. So I though we could do another this year. Could be what you have booked now or what you hope to book for 2016.

Going back to pieter and paw print to do some plains game again. Maybe doing a roan or buff or hippo for the kid see which one he wants by the time we go. Maybe add a few days someplace else but not sure yet. Doing 14 days for sure with a group of guys again like last trip.May still have room for 1 maybe 2 guys if anyone is looking to go.

lets hear what everyone has planned.

I'm up in the air about 2016. I think it would be best for me to take the wife somewhere nice!

Sent the deposit last week to Pieter at Paw Print for my son and I. Going on the "Pick your own" PG safari for 7 days that he advertised here on AH. Kudu, wildebeest, impala, warthog and wingshooting all on the agenda for the last week of Sept 16 at Flintbeck. And maybe a trip to Cradle of Mankind if time allows. So excited I can hardly stand it!!!

Mekaniks you will enjoy the hunt with Pieter and the folks at Flintbeck will treat you like family. Have fun and look forward to hear about your plans fir the trip!

Ethiopia with Northern Operations and Dave Rademeyer, for Mountain Nyala, Leopard and lesser kudu, and a few other odds and ends (anubis baboon anyone . . .!).

You better start that work out on the stair machine now.
You thought that damn Bongo was tough, now you add elevation and the jungle. o_O
I am looking forward to this hunt report already.

I have the trainer working on it already. Unfortunately, I think he has a tough row to hoe!

You guys have some great adventures planned, something to look forward to. We will be awaiting the reports

My youngest daughter graduates from LSU in May, 2016 and we're going to the Eastern Cape, around Grahamstown, in early June for a 10 day PG hunt with Wik Coetzee at Game 4 Africa (http://www.game4africa.co.za/ ). Wik offered a nice package deal, here on AH, and I jumped on it. My daughter did her first hunt this year when we went to Namibia and she really loved it. Kudu is high on our list.

In August, I head across the pond (opposite direction to most folks since I live in Nigeria) and will do a Dall Sheep hunt in the Yukon. Yes, I'm already working on the stairmaster and wearing a 50 lb weight vest to boot. I'm doing this hunt with Dave Dickson of Dickson Outfiiters (http://www.dicksonoutfitters.com/ ). A buddy of mine from work is also doing this hunt, so hope to spend a few days in Whitehorse, seeing the sites, etc.

Later in the year, I'll have my 30th wedding anniversary and we're planning a trip to Cape Town. We've lived in Nigeria a little over 3 years and yet to make a trip to Cape Town, so we're finally going to do it.

Will hunt problem elephants in Botswana....at a friends farm..tentatively february 2016.

All I have to say is WOW to where these good people are going to hunt in 2016. Forrest

There is some great trips planned by the look of the post already. Going to be some good reports to read by the looks of it.

Forrest my kid cost me enough cant afford another right now. LOL He worked hard with me this summer again and doing really well his jr year of high school so he is earning his return trip glad to say. Kid just changes his mind on what big animal he wants. Roan has been his dream animal but now hippo is right there also. So could be roan with the bow or maybe a hippo with the muzzlerloader.

For me it is nyala, bushbuck, bushpig, red hardebeest then who knows what after that.May try tracking down an eland this time on one of pieters area. That would be a great hunt for one of the monster old blue bulls there following sammy his tracker to try and take one.
He will be after nyala, red hardebeest, mtn reedbuck, kilspringer and then maybe a few more.
