Can´t blame the Leopard, for him a dog is just food, and as far as I know, this happens quite often. Either they like the taste, or it´s an easy prey for them.

You are so right Nyati, this leopard is 13 months old with an absentee mother so it was good to see him make a "Kill" (dog was not dead) . The leopard will be inoculated as soon as they find him again. He never ate the dog, the dog ran away and was shot. Sad but life in the bush. I'm telling you this live drive thing is truly amazing. Free education. If you watch the second video you will see that the guides are very good. This is something all of the concessions need to look into!!!

Leopards eat dogs all the time, I have never heard of a leopard getting a desease from a dog. I personally only watched the first 3 minutes of the second video...think the guide is speaking total BS!!!
 
Here is the entire video. Maybe I don't know which part you think is BS TMS, sorry he had to bring in the politics because I just take that with a grain of salt..I don't focus on that. And if these guys can help the antis and true hunters find a common ground I am all for it. Whatever it takes. That's all I'm saying. Free education.

The guide in the first video, I have often watched him at work....he's a brilliant guide and has a lot of knowledge, the second video, ...had to laugh.
 
He is a bit off for me at times as well but he's an effective teacher. This whole project can change things I'm telling you. It's a bridge between the two sides. Okay sorry, I'm done. Just thought it would be interesting to share. Sigh
 
Come over to Canada and follow a Cougar in the snow.
Eventually you will see plenty of Coyote (Jackal) carcasses they have eaten.

They will also very happily come onto ranches and remove the dog from the porch for a quick dinner.
