Trophy Room Pictures

Great collection partner, but I think you "stuffed" the wrong mullie! How wide is that 4x4?

It's a slow but sure start!

Not the best picture, but had to put an addition on the house after my SA trip in 2010. Found a local glass guy who was able to etch the African scene into the mirror above the bar.
I'm more of a waterfowl hunter than anything else but also have Blesbok and impala that I couldn't fit into the picture
For the avid bird hunting crowd the coolest mounst I have would be the Brewers duck (glass case on bartop) and a storm wigeon......headed to Argentina in July and hope to add to the collection.View attachment 41662
This is an awesome trophy room! I too love the birds, but have been bitten by the African bug. Really like those Redheads!

Impressive one and all. Fantastic elk above the T.V. Buffybr. How many years have you been hunting to aquire such an impressive amount of tropy's?

I've hunted since I was young, but never have had anything mounted. After seeing all of yours, I believe that's about to change!
I shot my first deer in 1965, hunting with one of my college roommates. My first "trophy" was that set of spike mule deer's antlers that I put on my bedroom wall at college.

The first animals that I had mounted were my first pronghorn antelope and first black bear that I shot in the early '70s when I lived in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Back then, Jonas Taxidermy in Denver had a "special" that they would tan with hair on, any size elk hide for $35. For three years I had my elk hides tanned, and I still have one of them on a wall in my reloading room.

The elk above the TV in my trophy room I shot in the Kootenai National Forest in northern Montana in 1977. He was the first legal bull that I saw that year. His main beams were 59 1/2" and 60 1/2", and netted 366+" B&C.

Until I hunted Dall sheep in Canada's Northwestern Territories in 1999, all of my hunts were DIY on public or other land that was open to public hunting.

I have since I last posted received my crate from RSA. I have my lioness skull, eland euro, and puff adder skin in my trophy room. I am waiting on my taxidermist to mount my lioness, sable, bushbuck, and the eland that is pictured. Originally I was only going to euro the eland but I saved the cape just in case. I like the euro of him but I cannot wait to have a wall pedestal done.

Wow, there are some amazing trophies and rooms on here! Here are a couple of pics of some of what I've got, spread out to more than 1 room. Soon to add the NZ trophies and next year hopefully a buff or sable!

I love seeing everyone's trophy rooms.
Mine ("The Safari Bar") does not have very many animals compared to some rooms posted here and the ceiling is too low but, a fun place to sit with friends and recall the adventures.
Later this month I am hosting a pizza party for AH members in Alaska, plus one or two other quite worthy chaps, and perhaps some party goers might take photos and post them on AH afterwards (I'm personally not much good with computers, posting photos, etc.)

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
