I picked up another bullet mold for my 375 Ruger, it casts a bullet 70 grains lighter than the big 350s I have been shooting. I really enjoy shooting the cast bullets in the Ruger, half the recoil, and 1/10th the cost.

The bottom picture is the first 4 shots with the new bullets shooting off of my Bog Pod.

This is cool stuff. What velocity do you get them to?

I am shooting them at 1800 to 1900 fps, not sure if I will ever do more than punch paper with them, I shoot cast for the cost, and the fact that it gives me easy on the shoulder trigger time with my favorite rifle. I love to shoot, and my job hasn't allowed for much hunting the past few years, I would love to try the FN version on a feral pig if I can find the time to go.

The mold was $133 with the 3 sets of pins (HP, CP, and FN), the powder charge is approx 17 cents, primer is 3.5 cents, and I am getting over 12 reloads per piece of brass, the lead and my time are free.

I use mostly wheel weights, or aircraft ballast plates and pure lead. Lead wheel weights are getting harder to find, more and more zinc and steel.

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
Ross
