Hi

Is there a marked photo for hunting Blesbok? I only ask because I am setting up the great pictures here for my kids to practice dry firing at them and the only one I could not find was Blesbok. If not no worries because I printed a picture off the web and I can just put a white mark on it. Thanks

Straight up the front leg 1/3 of the way into the body!

Terrific, thanks!

I shot this Blesbok off the sticks on an overcast day at about 130-40 yards. He was in a herd grazing thru and there were 3 to choose from, this one being the lead. After watching a while,

I hit him low and it would have been a shoulder shot except his right leg swung forward right before impact. We had to track him for 30-45 min as he slowly hemorraghed out.Shot placement a bit higher would have prevented that. .300 win Mag 200gr Swifts A Frame

He is nice looking! Good job!

That you for that candid report Steve Bosang. Good advice there! Nice Blesbok too.

Here is the shoot I did on this fine guy in the Karoo last year with a Old School Musgrave .308 and 150 grain soft bullet at 180 metres......

See you.....!!!!

Got this 15 inch Blesbok from 140 metres. Shot placement was a little high but still in the lungs. Was down a slope over a bump and couldn't see the legs, hence the placement. Still went down very quickly. Shot with a Brno 30-06 with 200 grain Swift A-frame. Was my 1st Blesbok. Amazing to me was that considering the size it didn't weigh much more than an Impala. Was also blind in 1 eye. Waiting for the horns and that beautiful flat skin.
