Hello!

I´m a Swedish PhD student and a keen hunter focused on hunting moose with my two dogs. I have been interested in African hunting since I started to hunt some 15 years ago but have always thought African hunting is out of my financial limits. However, since I'm going on a study trip to South Africa in April I thought I would give it a shot and try to find some kind of inexpensive hunt during my stay in the country.

I´m looking for just about any kind of hunting, as long as it isn't on very small fenced areas or includes shooting from a vehicle. It doesn't have to be trophy hunting but it would of course be nice to bag something worth to bring home. My budget is tight but I can offer various kinds of Swedish hunting in return of which moose hunting with dogs might be the most interesting to most people. Another perhaps more exotic hunt would be stalking capercaille, black grouse and possibly moose on the snow with skis and rifle.

My study trip will start in Johannseburg (or possibly Nelspruit) 2/4 and end in Durban 13/4 so ideally the hunt would be during some days immediately before or after that somewhere reasonably near Durban.

I'm gratefull for all suggestions and tips!

/M
