Approximately what size would a person expect to see on the Sable & Nyala?

Hi James

The sizes to expect on the Roans will be 24"-27" Bulls
The sizes to expect on the Sables will be 36"-40" Bulls
The sixes to expect on the Nyalas will be 26"-30" Bulls

I personally don't think this is a "good" deal. I feel that it is very expensive. I think $12K would be a good deal/

I dont claim to be an expert by any stretch but I've commonly seen Sable alone higher than this. Kudu are going to run around 2500 and Nyala are going to be around 2800. Plus adding a sable lets say on a low end 10k then add in Daily fees at give or take 300 to 400/day. It looks like a pretty smokin good deal to me. Plus he's adding a gemsbuck and warthog, neither of which interests me that much as I have taken a nice gemsbuck and a warthog is just a pig to me. At anyrate had I not booked hunts for this summer and next I'd been all over this. To each to his own. Best of luck

Heres my way of looking at this package:

On this site there have been 5 day sable hunts for $6950-$7500.00 These hunts were all inclusive for 5 days so your daily rates are included.
Nyala can be had for a good price for $2200.00
Kudu price $2000.00 would be a good price.
Gemsbok $950- $1100.00
Warthogs $350- $450.00

Add it up. A good deal would be around $12500.00
If you can sell it for more then go ahead. For me a good deal would be in the $12K range.

Yes you can get a deal like that one but are you sure you gone get your5 animals, what sizes are the sables.
I can get you a sable also for $7500 but you wont take it because I would not allow you, due to the size my friend.

But ya, we all shop around in life and the cheaper has not to say its a better deal. Some how you gone paid in on the trip.

I hear you Bearhunter, but I suspect there is a bit of apples to oranges in the comparison.

If a hunter is only after a representative X or Y animal, yes...it could be done for less perhaps.

But the posts above tell me that the fellow or gal booking this hunt can expect to see some pretty large specimens. Large usually costs more....

If someone thinks a posted hunt is a good deal than great, but if you feel the hunt offer isn't for you or that great of a deal to you, please do everyone else a favor and just move on and keep your mouth shut. There's no need to piss on someone's offer if you don't agree.
