Blesbuck in the Mist

I spot and stalked this Blesbuck Ram this morning in thick mist and shot him at 26 yards.

He did not go more than 40 yards.

Awesome hunt, Awesome animal, Awesome broad head (Grizz Trick) ...

What more can one ask for?

Nice blesbuck Gerhard! I have always hunted Africa with a rifle but I am leaving in a few days for a bow hunt in Namibia. I hope to have some photos to post in this section in a few weeks. Hey, I'm passing through Jo-berg how about blesbuck fillet on the braai:)

May your arrows fly straight and your blood trails be short, have a great hunt!!!

I am heading out tomorrow for a 10 day anti poaching and tracking course.

We will have to do the braai next time when you come and hunt with me.
