Thank you! And yes much to my wife’s annoyance(who thought it was silly) I wore it lol. I actually really liked it and preferred it compared to my felt fedora style hat. We actually found it at a local garage sale 2 months before we left for only $2! Was happy to find it!

Congratulations on your successful hunt with Matswani. Some very nice trophies! That giraffe is amazing. I believe we saw it in 2022. Or one very like it.

Me and my wife hunted with Matswani in 2022, and it was a great experience. So much that in a few weeks we are going back with family for another adventure. My son is going for a Cape Buffalo, and the rest are going for plains game. I'll tell Dewald hello. I believe that Herman is his father. My wife hunted with Herman for her sable last time.

Thank you! And yes, Herman is his father, while we didn’t hunt with Herman he talked to us during lunch and dinner multiple times. He is incredibly friendly, especially with our kids.

Like I commented, my classic stainless has the original 24” barrel.

Did you buy yours with the barrel already cut down to 21” or did you do it (or a gunsmith)?
