Politics

A lame duck last two years could be spent following up on DOGE findings, plus whatever Vance comes up with could it not? Why would that not be a great way to help the taxpayer and clip the wings of waste fraud and abuse going forward?
Also, could we not get some convictions on political malfeasance? That would be tremendously popular with the base.
Why not do these things rather than some new topic of the day. If Trump wants to be remembered well, he could not only concentrate on these areas, only doing a few important things well. But perhaps hardening the electrical grid, and replenishing rocket reserves/stockpiles of rare earth components for said manufacture would be the responsible path, whether or not popular.
I watched the podcast with Elon musk when he had just left doge on Joe rogan. He seemed genuinely concerned for his well being when he was asked why he stopped looking into the treasury and dod. He openly said on the podcast he likes living and doesn’t want to be killed. I say that to say I don’t think anyone has any intentions to ever really dive into fraud waste and abuse and remove it at the biggest levels. Heck I remember 25 years ago watching with my pop when romsfield came on tv and said the treasury couldn’t account for 2 trillion dollars( back when trillions ment something) next day 9/11 and they never brought that money up again. Seems like a meaningful amount of money to have gone looking for. I’m sure with 39 trillion owed they could find some pretty big numbers if they wanted to.

And here you are back to stir up sh**. You ever have an unspoken thought?

Didn’t think so.

Maybe we should stop spending $1.5 trillion per year on the military industrial complex. Or we could tax the rich more. Biden got two infrastructure bills passed, Trump...0.
Or we could tax the 50% of Americans that don’t pay any federal income taxes.

I dont claim to be any great scholar, and I did not even know who Conway was until I had to search her name after you brought her up. Even then I didn't know that "Alternative facts" is some magic phrase that only she can use or be associated with. But go ahead and tell yourself otherwise, it is quite nice having a rent-free space in your head.

There are 2 (of many) examples of airborne carbon fiber particles and toxic byproduct gases of the base “plastics/polymers”.. Google can be your friend to learn something instead of lying by repeating liberal bullshit. You said you "can find no evidence" of Obama, but I found those articles in a 10 second search. You are either a terrible liar, or completely incompetent at research. If you fell in a barrel of tits, you'd come out sucking your thumb.

I also said I would modify the meme to say "meaningful candidate," which Bernie is/was not. Nonetheless, here's what he was saying in 2015.

In fairness, as had been the case with all my posts while you just pick and choose your content, Bernie did not threaten military action against Iran, he only took the stance they should not be allowed to have nuclear capability.

After video review, it has been confirmed the lies to come from the Left, and the foul has been changed to player BigEasy. That player is disqualified from the contest.
Put down the jug of cool-aid homie. You asked for sources and citations and I gave you that. Now you don't like it? Too bad. If you didn't know who Kellyanne was, or her statement, then maybe you're the one who needs to google more.

"There are 2 (of many) examples of Obama against Iran having nuclear capability"...Obama being against Iran's nuclear program and him saying that they should be bombed and invaded are two separate things. You said bombed/invaded...go re-read your own post. If you don't understand the difference between those two things, you can't be helped.

Bernie was not advocating they be bombed and invaded either.

Oh there we go again.....

You have no counter so blah blah blah, some one else was blaming something so therefore blah blah blah.

Your blanket generalizations and false correlation is the hall mark of a person arguing from a disingenuous stance(either aware or unaware of their delusion) for the sake of being obtuse because you have no way of rebutting the facts before you so you try to pivot away and attribute the thinking of others to people where there is no correlation so that you can discount the facts presented by others(you see as your lessors) and thus deem rebuttal beneath you.

After 10 years of living in Austin Texas I'm used to people dancing mental gymnastics so that faulty logic and desire to see the world through victim eyes will keep you in the self elevated position of being the righteous one who is defending the castle walls from the philistines of thought that are beneath you........

Good luck with that
"Your blanket generalizations and false correlation is the hall mark of a person arguing from a disingenuous stance"

...Oh the sweet sweet irony. Like when someone blames Democrats for HOAs when said HOAs exist in every state including deep red Texas and Florida, that's been run by Republicans for 30+ and 25+ years respectively? Yeah you're right. Sounds like a blank generalization to me....Go police your own political folks there buddy.

Ok , I did it. Put the D bag @Big_Easy on ignore. I’ll see if this actually works.

Once I realized his posts were of no value, I just scrolled by anything he wrote. Seems to work. I have to admit that the responses he elicits can be downright hilarious.

Agreed, absolutely!
The panels create a similar but somewhat different disposal problem, not only the plastics but more so the exotic mixes of heavy metals and compounds. About two years ago I spent a couple of days with a wind and solar engineer from a prominent Asian supplier. We had very interesting and enlightening conversations on this subject. The person said, quite definitively, the only practical use for the technology was for off-grid, specialized application. We also discussed the secondary issue of battery storage for off production time, and again the conclusion was definitive- battery disposal at end of lifetime, causes yet another huge environmental issue. Bottom line opinion by this person, no one (those charged with disposal whomever they may be) has any idea how to dispose of this crap in an environmentally friendly, cost effective or safe way. So, for all those who are all in on the green energy scam of wind and solar, knock yourself out in the delusion but please don’t try to fool those who know better and bother to learn ALL the facts.

Regardless of the state, HOAs are virtually always run by Democrats. How could you not know that?

That doesn’t mean the technologies would any advance to solve these issues. Hell in the 60’s Popular Mechanics wrote articles on how to properly dump your motor oil in your yard. Guess what we do now with it, it gets processed. The “clean up” aspect of any new technology is always a lagging factor, but humans are very innovative, so we will figure out a solution.

I suppose big easy isn’t going to get to see the dumb Trump voters paying $10 a gallon like he hoped. ;)
No, but I have seen some folks pay $6-7 for diesel. Sometimes we don't always get what we want in life. But hey, there's still 2.5 years left of the Trump admin, so who knows, anything's possible....Such is life.

Waste of more tax payer dollars and congressional time..
Like when Republicans spent 10s of millions of dollars on the Benghazi investigations? Will they spend the same amount of time and money investigating the Port of Shuaiba attach on March 1st that killed 6 US service members because they were put in an inadequately fortified triple-wide trailer without the ability to properly counter a drone attack?

The auto parts stores here used to take your used motor oil for free. Many have stopped accepting the oil because they can’t find drivers to pick up the oil. Or so that’s what their official line is. But it is probably economics. Same as with recycling here. The trash companies want you to pay monthly for a separate trash can to recycle your stuff so in theory, they can make new products out of the recyclables and sell them for a profit from the stuff you gave them for free. I can only imagine what economic/environmental obstacles are involved with the recycling of solar panels and windmill blades.

LOL, what are talking about, lead-acid batteries have a 99% recycle rate. Where do you think all those dead car batteries go when they get swapped out for a fresh one? The landfill? No.

If we can do that with lead-acid batteries, we can do so with Lithium-Ion ones as well. Here's one of several companies that do just that, started by a former tesla executive.

LOL, we already do.....they're called Tariffs buddy, and everyone gets to pay them.
I clearly stated “FEDERAL INCOME TAXES” yes everyone does pay tariffs, sales taxes and property tax if you own property but that goes to states, counties and municipalities. There is a Federal gas tax per gallon but if you don’t want to pay it don’t drive.

I mix old oil, diesel and gasoline together for burning brush and stump piles. Not a problem getting rid of it.

Alas, I wish that it did. Instead, you see replies, with the heading "you are ignoring posts by this member", so you don't see what the reply is all about. It's an imperfect system.

Then again, I learned a long time ago that it's an imperfect world. Screws fall from ceiling ducts all the time...

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
