Very nice Louis! Enjoyed it greatly, well done.

Very great video. Looks like a lot of hard work was put into it!

Great video, loved the bowhunting, wached it twice and makes we want to go even more!!

Nice video.

Very well done.(y)

Good video, nice quality. Two suggestions (not trying to be picky) at about 1:58 mark a frame with Roan (I think) there is a fence visible. Even though it is a game farm, perhaps this may not support the opening property size as intended.

Second think that stood out for me (I have never hunted fenced property) so forgive my ignorance, is the amount of game take over water holes (bow only I think). I was under the impression that this practice is not entirely best practice. (Trying to be politicly correct)

Only my opinion.

Hi Richteb

Thank you for your comments sir.

Just to respond the animal with a fence behind it is a white blesbuck and you are most probably correct in saying that this particular clip should not have been included in the DVD it is a tough call to make since there are fences in South Africa we cant get around the topic it is simply part of the game so to speak no matte were you go or how big an area is you will see a fence somewhere heck I have seen them in other African countries as well.

Sir even though ranches are fenced the animals are still WILD we have a certain amount of days to take trophies that a client is after, I would love to walk and stalk every animal hunted with bow but most clients do not have the time to spend 15 days in South Africa to hunt 2 or 3 animals.

If you take in to account that clients pay a daily rate, have travel expensess and most bow hunters will invest quite a bit of money on their equipment when coming to hunt Africa and then not to even give them an opportunity on the animal he/she is after one would not be a very successful Outfitter/PH.

I sincerely respect your opinion and thank you for the feedback.

Best Regards

Louis,
I fully understand the pressure that is placed on your operation to meet all your clients expectations (not always realistic). I also understand (and respect) the game farm industry, for it has dome some pretty remarkable things for African wild life (Rhino) and is the largest in the World at present. My observations and comments are purely from a presentation point of view, and in no way am I suggesting how you should run your operation nor the ethics behind it. Even though my own hunting experience is limited to a single safari, that in it self has shown me a little of what goes into conducting a successful safari. I have nothing but respect for all the PH/outfitters as no doubt they have to put up with a lot from clients that are not always as educated about hunting as they should be. The old motto, just because you can afford to, doesn't mean you should comes to mind.

I wish you and your company nothing but success now and in the future, especially considering the crazy world we live in.

Hi Richteb

I think it is a case of damned if you do and damned if you don't. All hunters have different views and all we can do is try and stick together and respect each other.

Thank you greatly for you honest feedback it is needed at times...as the day you think you are perfect is the day you are furthest from being perfect.

Best Regards

I did not notice the fence the first 2 times I watched it. I only saw it when I went back to look for it specifically. It is hard to avoid using all clips with a bit of fence in the background. I don't see it as much of an issue, the animals aren't being trapped by the fence and it isn't that prevalent. Its not like a giant prison like fence. Hunting from a blind or tree stand is the usual practice with a bow as most bow hunters need to get within 40yds for a good shot and its not easy with any game. Plus your trying to get say 5+ animals in a week, not just one. The only suggestion would be to maybe add in a clip of a stalk with a bow(I'll come do it for free ;)).

Ha Ha Bsums I can accmodate your suggestion, if you look at the nyala in the video, that was walk and stalk. Unfortunatly, we had to cut quite a lot of walking out to keep it action packed.

Now if you can walk and stalk a kudu bull he is yours on the house:).

Thanks again for all the comments gentleman.

Best Regards

Very professionally done(y). It left me with the impression that this is a quality establishment. My only comment is that I personally dislike the very fast picture changes as my brain just works too slowly! By the time I grunt and snort myself into awareness of the image, its gone and the montage ends up feeling abrupt. Perhaps slow down the transition between images of the animals at the beginning? On the upside there was no way I was going to see a fence . Anyways, just a thought. Good luck with it and I liked the video.

Maybe I'll take you up on that Kudu offer one day haha. Just be prepared for some belly rash as we'll crawl through the dirt for hours in pursuit.

What a great video, had my heart pumping. Looks like a great outfit you got there. I would like to come see it some day. If I can ever get this silly obsession with dangerous game satisfied I just may do that.

Thank you for the kind words Gizmo it is appreciated.

LOL Obsession with Dangerous game is not a bad problem to have!!!!!!

Would be great to have you in camp some day...

Best Regards

Right, I just wish I'd found something a whole lot cheaper to become completely obsessed with.
