Louis, it,s another 9.3 x 74. I like this calibre not so harsh as the .470 NE
I hope to give it a run against an Aaussie water Buffalo early next year.

It sure is a good looking double I must be honest and say I have never used the caliber but have herd very good things about it.

Good luck on the Aussie Buff sounds like fun!!!!!

Best Regards

That's what sold me on this rifle. It also comes up like a fine English shotgun. The regulation is both barrels about and inch high at 50 yards and dead centre.

It's a fine looking rifle for sure. Who is the maker and what can of skin is it displayed on?

It,s a Chapuis in 9.3 x74 and the skin is a blue Wildebeest I shot last April. I will try and post some pics of the action as there is some nice work going on there. Thanks.

Love the wood... what a beautiful rifle!!!!! one day.....

Beauty !

Another beautiful double Reckless, congrats.

If it shoots as good as it looks, then you'll be very well armed !

Don't under-estimate our Aussie buff (y)

Paul.

Very unusual grain in the stock, I like it.

.

Beautiful rifle!

Beautiful Rifle!!! Congrats!

Just a couple of little problems that I see, the triggers are backwards and the cheek piece is on the wrong side!

a fine looking rifle with an outstanding stock!

Congrats....always a great feeling when you get a new double....or any rifle for that matter.

nice rifle, wood is lovely and as for the calibre (y) great choice . i had a similar one but the wood wasnt anywhere as nice before i got my jeffery 9.3x74r and it was a great little rifle. shot buff, wildebeest, impala, warthog and boar with it.

Booked the Aussie Buff hunt in the NT in July. Will keep you informed.

You'll love it! Oz is a great place for hunting. Who and where are the next questions!
