Tastelessness aside, I would be interested to know what the progress of this little nation is. If hunting became available, that would be both a sign of stability and another means for economic progress in a land that has had more than its share of hard times. I understand the tarpon fishing is supposed to be as good as anywhere in the world off the coast of Sierra Leone, and I think there are operations that do fishing charters there. Hunting could be a great benefit to the animals of Sierra Leone, because the restoration of stability seems to have increased the pressure on wildlife habitat there from logging and other uses. Their chimpanzee and endangered pygmy hippopotamus population could only benefit from having some forest areas protected for the hunting of animals like Bongo or the above mentioned zebra duiker. Let's hope!
