Hi All,

We still have some dates available for October or November of this year, the weather is a little warmer but the hunting is still excellent. As a late season special we'll be offering a 10% discount for any of the below packages booked for October or November.

If none of the packages appeal to you then please get in contact with us to put together a customised package for you.

Hunting can be done by either bow or rifle. Kanana is 100 000 Acres of privately owned game farm situated in pristine Kalahari Bushveld roughly 250km SW of Maun, Botswana. The hunts will be conducted by myself or one of our excellent PH's. We also have 2 neighbours that have kindly allowed us to hunt their properties should we want a change of scenery :) this gives us an extra 100 000 acres of additional hunting space and even more game to add to our already incredible game numbers and exceptional trophy quality.

All accommodation is full board in Motswiri Lodge - our luxury tented safari camp situated in the heart of Kanana Wilderness.

The packages are as follows:

Excellent Deal!

Very nice deals!

Awesome deal Jason ! We still need to set up a visit as well..

My best as always

Are there any USA Inport restrictions on the trophies?

and I already blew my hunting budget for the year. oh well. . .

I hunted with Kanana last year. Great place. Lots of animals. There is no better deal ($) in Africa than this hunt. You can hunt in Botswana on private land. No trophy import restrictions. There are several hunt reports on this site and on AR.

Whenever I typed "Botswana Hunt" in Google, I got articles on the ban and how it screwed over the bushmen.

Bushmen are being screwed over for certain.
Their "San" hunting has been curtailed illegally by the Botswana government. TOTALLY different issue.
Look up Kalahari Game Reserve San, if you want to get more details.

Trophy hunting in government concessions has been stopped/ halted/ banned. The last Elephants were hunted last year.

Hunting of Plains Game is still taking place in a growing industry on private land in Botswana.
Kanana is an excellent example of having a game ranch in concert with a cattle operation. Not on the same land, but same owners.
The property was previously used as a "photo" safari destination and did not work out. I'll bet more people have visited the property since it's conversion than ever visited while it was a "photo" operation.

This will help you understand some of the consequences of banning hunting in Botswana.
What occurred with Lion.
http://www.africahunting.com/threads/how-the-ban-on-lion-hunting-killed-the-lions.13049/

I saw one Cheetah track while at Kanana. Several Leopard tracks and ZERO lion tracks. Pretty consistent with the video.

Great to know thanks Brickburn

If you don't mind me asking what is the size of the Farm/Hunting Area? Was thinking of doing either Namibia or Botswana next year(2015) you can pm me with more info.

SCJagter,
See the original post. It's 100,000 acres with access to neighboring properties measuring an add'l 100k acres. It's huge.

Thank you Jason!! I lived in Ghanzi for a while but never had the opportunity to hunt. Saw the package but now I have read the details! Will be in touch.

If you can, go. Hunted with them this spring. Wonderful folks and a terrific hunting area. Wish I could go but that's when we are building the trophy room from my spring hunt.
