Can you put your knives in your gun case for air travel?

I have been looking and can't find an answer.

does anyone know if it is ok to put a couple of knives in my pelican 3300 storm with my rifles?

I don't see a problem with it but i can't seem to find the answer, will be flying delta from cedar rapids iowa to atlanta then straight to joberg.

any advise is appreciated.
 
never mind i found some info, looks like it is ok to put them in your gun case.
 
I have, no problems.
 
Thanks guys I am just going to cut some notches in the foam and put them in.

Note the close right hand side of the gun case. Swiss Army Knife and Leatherman.

No issues.
