I am currently in the process of trying to design a case that can fit multiple Blaser R8s and barrels, and ran across this old listing where they had two Blaser R8s, each with two barrels and scopes, stacked on top of each other in its own foam layer inside a SKB 4217-7 case...

I am looking to get a Blaser R8 barrel shortened and then threaded as well. Does anyone have a gunsmith they could recommend that has done R8 barrels?

It fits into a RCBS rock chucker. The press comes with a threaded insert, and if you pull that out, it fits.

I don't know what type of wood the tip is made of. It seems to have a slightly different grain than the stock and is definitely darker.
