    .45 Super

I agree with the choice of powders. I'd personally stay away from hollowpoints and use instead 240 grains to 255 grains hard cast lead bullets for maximum penetration, either for reloading or commercial ammunition. Underwood and Buffalo Bore as well as a couple of others make very potent loads...

    Transitioning To A Blaser R8 - A Two Months / 500 Rounds Review

Sure, you can do that. I did it at first between two barrels.

It's a great idea but moving a scope from one barrel to another requires adjustments every time. I have four barrels and each has a dedicated scope.

Yes, it does that in real life and there is nothing you can do about it. Shortening it would prevent you for affixing both rings of a scope. Its length covers the loading port. It can potentially interfere in a cartridge ejection and it certainly makes loading the magazine from the top...

    It does cover the chamber.

I agree with you which is why I never used the rail.

    Transitioning To A Blaser R8 - A Two Months / 500 Rounds Review

The problem I experienced was with A Sig Sauer scope with blue tooth connected to a Kestrel. The package works amazingly well. I have four barrels, that scope is the only one that needed a bit of relief because of its involved system. It does work flawlessly at all ranges including extreme long...

    Transitioning To A Blaser R8 - A Two Months / 500 Rounds Review

I have the Picatinny rail, a large part of it covers the loading port which makes it inconvenient.

Thank you, the only issue I had was with one particular scope and even with high mounts the base of the turret was barely allowing a sliver of light to pass. I solved the issue with two washers slim enough to allow the screws enough purchase to secure the scope. Thanks again.

Considering how much a firearm flexes upon firing, the space between scope turret and mount base is critical. I experienced the same thing you did even with high 30 mm rings. The solution was to add two washers to create space. It now works very well, however prior to the addition of the rings I...

Load Data For .375 H&H (P.O. Ackley Improved)

It is, you can use the Weatherby loads for it. I have a similar round of my own design, between the Weatherby and Ackley loads I achieved substantially faster speeds than in the original H&H. Because it becomes a straight walled case, it's important to not use absolute top loads for ease of...

    Politics

Your pompous remark is off base, purposely interpreting self protective measures out of context and the opposite of reality where the U.S. Canada and the E.U. enjoy very strongly shared democratic values. Your viewpoint is nothing but a highly nationalistic pretentious opinion of the most narrow...
