    .375 21" barrel?

Nothing that special, Remmington Long Action SPS (Shity Plastic Stock) with 16 inch barrel chambered in .375WSM I run a suppressor on it as well. Photography is not my strong point .223 shown on left for scale

    .375 21" barrel?

Tried out some ADI BM2 in my 16 inch barreled .375WSM, 250gn TTSX chrony'ed at 2705fps average for 5 shots 6fpsES so pretty happy with that but the TTSX' s might be a bit much for Red Dee, pigs and the odd goat. Its only drawback so far is its very loud with out the suppressor fitted

    .375 21" barrel?

I have a 16inch barrel on my 375wsm, Is very loud, plug required at all times, but I still have good speed, deer cant seem to tell the difference but it sure makes a difference in the thick bush here in NZ....... overkill all the same

New 375 project, need some validation

Yes it is loud especially when the brake is fitted however for general hunting it wears a suppressor as I value both my own and the dogs hearing. I think unbraked and unsuppressed though it would be a very handy mobile rifle especially if it was a slightly heavier calibre like 416 or 458WSM I...

New 375 project, need some validation

I have a Remington M700 LA in .375WSM, while you cant buy factory ammo its still easy to load for as its a straight neck up from 300WSM brass. 250gn barnes @2700fps from 16 inch barrel. Recoil is not too bad either. First deer I shot with it you could look "thru" the hole. Was less meat damage...

School me on .375, velocity, and Dangerous Game

My WSM will be mainly used with big bullets / subsonic velocities for deer but I also expect 2800fps with 235gn projectiles and maybe 2300 2400fps with the big ones but its a speculative at the moment. really no need for it for deer but I wish to hunt with subsonic loads and there is no...

School me on .375, velocity, and Dangerous Game

If a rifle were engraved 375-300WSM and the brass was marked 300WSM is that "near enough"??

    Subsonic loads for .308 Win

I'm planning on building something very soon which will be primarily sub sonic to allow me to hunt with one of my dogs who is an excellent hunter but gun shy as hell. I plan on a 375 "Something" with heavy subsonic bullet "lehigh" or similar. but by choosing 375 cal I still have option of using...

Buying a Suppressor in the US

Thats crazy, my new .375-300wsm will also be suppressed. Its going to have a short 16 inch barrel at this stage so total "barrel length" with suppressor fitted will be right on 20 inches. I think un-suppressed it will be very loud

Buying a Suppressor in the US

I have them on all my rifles. Hunting with a dog it just makes sense. I would not be without one and my next rifle will also have one. I do not understand why all the restrictions in the US. Here in NZ we can just buy one of the shelf and go use it. They do not really work the way you see in...

    Hi from New Zealand

Hi guys, just joined this forum. Keen hunter here in NZ Currently thinking about building a new rifle in .375 calibre. Will be a wildcat most likely since thats my "thing" most likely .375-300WSM. Will be short barrelled and most like used subsonic/suppressed for deer as one of my dogs loves...
