      Hi Guys, sjoe this is a difficult time of the year. Rifle is clean, everything for that matter is clean and if I look at the calender it is about 8-9 months before hunting season, long time to wait...well we have to!

    I have a pre 64 model 70 .270 Win, and have shot alot with it. From Impala to Bluewildebeest.
    Have shot with a 30.06 as well.

    Proper shoes for the bush!!
    My best hunting tip:
    Taking my first widebeest with my .270. It is regarded as a little bit "light" but wow, no problems, at 250m it did not go far!!
    My other interests:
    I am into my sport, being South African, obviously rugby and cricket, but I enjoy all, try to cycle as often I can.
