Hi everyone. Haven't posted for a long time now, .... too busy filming hunts. Here's a buff hunt that I really enjoyed, filmed with Jonie du Randt of Omni Hunting Safaris in South Africa. Enjoy :)

    Interesting Kudu dropshot

The loud rifle comes from the PH wearing a radio microphone and being right next to the hunter. Also the wind blowing directly at us. Thanks for the compliment.

    Interesting Kudu dropshot

Hi everyone, been out filming loads of hunts, but been a bit slow in posting stuff on YouTube. Here's an interesting dropshot on a Cape Kudu while filming with Jonie du Randt, Owner P/H of Omni Hunting Safaris. We hunted for 7 days before getting this nice bull. This is a true free-range kudu...

Cape Buffalo hunt with Tam Safaris

Buff hunt Just to set the record straight: Lady in question (client's wife) stayed about 500 yards behind with buff on the other side of the lake on the final stalk. With that .416 Weatherby, I guess you need a muzzle brake. I personally hate them (muzzle brakes, but do use a suppressor -...

Thanks. Slow motion is always part of it. Still amazes me how each animal reacts differently to the impact.

    Lion Hunt with Tam Safaris

    Lion Hunt with Tam Safaris

Lion hunt Camerman pleads guilty in this case (me). As you can see on the video, the lion fell in long grass and rather than doing a lot of "gardening" around the trophy, I asked to have it moved to a better spot where I could have it in an open patch rather than destroy vegetation.

    Lion Hunt with Tam Safaris

Hi everyone. Here's a lion hunt clip (abbreviated) from about a week ago while filming with Tam Safaris. Not so sure if this guy wanted to take a bite at us, ...... Client used a .416 Weatherby. Hope you enjoy the clip. Here it is:

Thank you. Correction, .... lone cameraman :) Wish I had a B-Cam on those hunts!

    .470 Double on Zebra

Here's a Zebra hunt with a slight difference. Client used his .470 double which means that one has to get close, less than 80 yards. Not easy in open terrain. Congrats to Stephen Tam of Tam Safaris for an excellent stalk. Sometimes things work out :)! Here's the video:
