I can't do it next year, but I'll have to see if you're offering something similar for April 2020. Any of the Kobus species are at the top of my list. (I spent 10 years wanting to hunt waterbuck before I got a chance last year.) A chance for two of them plus a nyala would be great.

My experience with taxidermists is very limited, but I was pretty impressed with Game Over taxidermy in Kimberley. ( http://www.gameovertaxidermy.co.za ) As I said, i don't have much for comparison, but I was pleased, especially with my waterbuck, which was the main goal and highlight of my hunt.

Like nearly everyone else here said, skip the backskins unless you have a specific plan for them. I don't really regret doing it, (they weren't *that* much extra) but I have no idea what I'll end up doing with them, if I ever do anything at all. They just sit on top of the gunsafe. A gemsbok...

That was what my wife suggested, since a lechwe or kudu wouldn't be that different from the hunt we did last year, and what I'm leaning toward. But, given the extra considerations of bringing family, I won't rule out doing a smaller plains game hunt, and then a buffalo hunt on my own later.
