Verney Carron Double Rifles

After buying , shooting and hunting with my first Verney Carron in 577NE about 7 years ago, I fell in love with both VC and double rifles. I now have a few and am absolutely loving everything about them.

I might be proven wrong someday, but I truly believe that they might also be a good investment.

I am absolutely a Verney Carron fan, but I only have one so far, an O/U double in 375 Flanged Magnum. It is the combination of functionality and elegance that sets these pieces apart, even in the base model that I have. The minimalist engraving on the barrel to action section says it all. I looked hard before I chose, and handled the various contenders including the closest being Heym and Chapuis. They are really nice too, but the Verney Had the edge.
I will be using the 375 on an upcoming sable hunt, and as it is an open sight model it will be a real hunt getting in close.
My next, if I ever need to get there would be the 450/400 round body PH, like the one you have.
