I am not one for ornate engraving, especially scrolls, flowers and the like. A simple game scene perhaps, or as the case on my Verney very minimal edge decoration. It is the workmanship, fit and feel of these fine rifles that sets them apart, adornment not necessary. Wood? Oh yes, a fine stock talks to the soul!
