Since COVID cancelled my Bahamas bone fishing trip in late March, I've spent the last several weekends learning some new local water for spring fishing. The Skwala (stone fly) hatch on the Bitterroot is pretty famous and I think the water saw less traffic since guided trips were shut down and fewer out of staters as well. Runoff has hit so most of the river will be out of commission for a few weeks. Thankfully, Montanans were encouraged to enjoy the outdoors as long as you practiced "social distancing"!
