@MarkCZ yes, same person. Just back this am from Namibia. Cracking trip. Management hunt of 30 animals over 10 days. Filled the quota and took a few more between 4 of us.
Oryx,zebra and red hartebeest were hunted. We only got one zebra. Never succeeded on the hartebeest but took some black and blue wildebeest ,springbok, a couple of jackals and a baboon padded out the bag.
@Sika98k Sounds like you had a ball. We are off to Namibia on the 1st June. We have 7 days hunting for Oryx, Springbok, Hartebeest, Eland and Zebra. Warthogs, Jackel and Baboons are free. I got a really nice Hartebeest last time. Mark
Do you mind me asking where you hunt ? I love the country but feel I should see a bit more of it.
I’ve been to Hochfeld a few years ago on a warthog management hunt. Lots of trigger time ! The last 3 trips have been to between Outjo and Kamanjab south of Etosha. Good family and good hunting.
But I’m always open to alternatives !

Hi Angus, We hunt in the Mariental district on a huge farm. It is not a recognised hunting farm and the farmer and his wife do all the driving, cooking etc.
Most of the shooting is from the back of a truck but we don't mind that. it is all cull hunting with warthog, jackal and baboon free. He does also find us hunting for what ever animals he does not have on his farm for exsample this year we are hunting Eland and Zebra on a friends place. The cost of these is £290 and £250.
What we do on his farm for 7 days with all costs will probably cost us no more than £800 each and last time 4 of us shot 32 animals of 8 species. I will probably after this year try to market the next trip so that my hunting is free but will still be exceptional value.
