I came to the conclusion that while many prefer the drop point skinner there is a corresponding section of the hunting community who prefer the trailing point skinner so this is going to be a new pattern I will introduce shortly. Will offer it with plain handles or bolsters and may even do it as drawn with the doube curved bolster so without any further ado here is the buffalo skinner with its 4 3/4 in blade
