Double Rifle, Knife Shell Holder Belt
I took a Marmot fanny pack, cut an Uncle Mikes belt slide in two and asked my Wife to attach them to the sides of the pack.
One in the chamber, one in my pocket...eight on the belt. Small set of Bino's in the pouch, small knife on the slide.
That worked great...until I realized (honestly) I just needed one round in each pocket (no jingles, six pockets) and my binoculars off the left hip. And a super small Swiss Army Knife...with Tweezers.
I've found that going as light as possible in the field with a guide in Africa is the right answer. The guide or tracker carries the pack. At best, I shove a bottle of water in my hip pocket and we roll. In all fairness, I've never been more than 2 miles from the truck in Africa.
