I have been using the TipStrike ammo for a few years now, it is a devastating drop to the shot kind of bullet. There is some serious damage if solid bone is hit, but the bullet has no problem with penetration even when encountering heavy bone. I have not had a exit wound on any game, energy is spilled in the vitals and causes havoc. I have not recovered a bullet yet, fragments yes. Accuracy is superb and advertised velocity in 308 and 30-06 is spot on in both my guns.
These boars I stalked the past week with the old ZG47 in 30-06. The big boar I got to meet up close today at around 7 meters.
