@Anthony George Yes and it had an almost new (old strock) barrel so had excellent accuracy with my prefered load

How does the steel Butt plate go ?

@Anthony George The steel buttplate is of no consequence as the recoil of a 450gn bullet at 160fps is hardly noticed on a rifle like this. This short vodeo shows that you could fire it all day with no discomfort.
