Black Mamba Namibia

I hope it was dead or taken with a telephoto lens. I have been to Namibia, twice and only this last trip saw a puff adder, no mambas.

First trip to Namibia I saw a mamba scoot across the road in front of truck..damn thing was fast as hell ! Wife nearly stepped on a cobra near some rocks....but as Ortwin said "they are non aggressive and try to get away"..He was right...Thank goodness...Next two trips,,no snakes other than a crawling track...
