The young hunter shot a blue wildebeest, a young wildebeest, the bulls are large body animals, very difficult to hunt with rifle and bow..it has a broad body and usually hunters aims too high and shoot over the heart and lungs...the best shot placement is direct up with the front leg , the lower one third of the body..there is always a slight bulge of the muscle ...if you hit it on the bulge you hit the heart in the center ..these are extremely tough game animals, and probably the animal that is wounded and lost the most during a hunt,..
