Chamois Hunt France

A grand old Class III female Chamois, in her case, way past the 10 year criteria for Class III. She is my best ever... so far... (despite breaking her horns in a 300 ft fall after the shot).
The rifle is a Steyr Mannlicher Luxus stutzen, with rail Zeiss 1.5x6-42 on claw mounts, in caliber .270 Win. A good compromise in France/Europe where it shoots flat enough for the distance (Chamois, Mouflon, Bouquetin i.e. Mountain Goat and 'Big Horn' Sheep), does not damage too much the small animals (Chevreuil i.e. Roebuck) but still hits hard enough for the tougher animals (Sanglier i.e. WildBoar, and Cerf i.e. Red Stag).
