These black walnut stock blanks are cut for A-Square "Coil Check" stocks. They are just under 2.5" wide, allowing you to make the butt of your dangerous game rifle wide and spread the recoil force out over a larger area of your shoulder. I bought them while working at A-Square circa 1997.
My projected building of dangerous game rifles has met my anemic wallet, so I don't need all of these.
All blanks have no sapwood, and have markedly straight grain through the grip area for strength and less chance of ever splitting.
