My good friend , Tobin Stakkatz , upon returning to Wisconsin ( America ) in 1972 actually had a gun smith build him a custom .458 Winchester magnum calibre rifle on a Springfield Model 1903 military surplus action and he was extremely happy with the rifle , using it even for the largest of Kodiak bears .

I had gone to America to spend the holidays with Tobin and his family and l had taken this photograph. Even a missing kidney could not slow down Tobin Stakkatz 1 bit.
