Anti-poaching efforts Zambia

We clearly see that anti-poaching efforts gives results with increase of game numbers on Mbizi, but the rain season is a peak for illegal hunting. This poacher was arrested by one of our anti-poaching units 02,00 in the night after shooting a Kudu, butchering it and fast drying the meat over fire. He was handle over to DNPW and the local police that was acting very professional.
@MBIZI SAFARIS I'm curious..... What is his reason for poaching? Quite often we (outsiders) think of poaching as going after rhino horn or elephant ivory. This man was after meat? Are the majority of poachers poaching to feed themselves and their family? Or for other reasons?

It's commercial poachers, they drying the meat and selling it... they don't care if it's a female or male they shooting.

Are they doing it out of necessity? As in they can't find employment anywhere and need the money to survive? Or are they more like a common criminal, such as a burglar who steals people's stuff and sells it? (And one could argue that the burglar is also doing it from necessity as they cannot find work.)
