I didn't have the long cocking piece that is usually used so the GS turned a short section of the original CP and made a sleeve to fit over it, sweted it on and cut a dovetail accross the face. Normally the dovetail is cut accross the center but I asked him to make the sleve with a lowered portion for the dovetail so the sight would sit lower as I also had a set of QD bases fitted so I could fit a scope that I usually carried in a scope bag (with a 6 rounds of long range ammo in it) for those ocasions where a longer shot was needed although I shot out to 200yds with the rigby sight.
