What I did do is start looking for a Winchester Model 70 Supergrade - (pictured above) new - with highly figured wood in a 30-06 based caliber. I found one for a great price, bought it, and took it to a gunsmith to have it rebarreled to 35 Whelen. And yes, it is accurate.
